I have what I think is the original version of Sync (not 2 or 3).

I have just installed a new SD card to get updated maps, and a few otherr things have changed.  One is that the Parking Pilot rectangles on the rear camera come on every time I reverse. Can I set the default to not have them displayed (as it used to be).

Also, in Sync applications on the main menu, it says that "no applications are installed" (or something like that) and I think it has always said that.  So what applications COULD I install, and is that something I can do myself?

Hi. Did you sort this out. I have the same car and updated my sat nav. I had to perform a master reset to upload it. Ever since, the parking sensor display on the center screen only shows the front part of the car. The sensors all work front and back just no display. I wonder if my software had been updated by Ford but my master reset has reverted it back to an old version. I have checked with Forscan but could find no faults.  The rear camera has never worked. Again, Forscan showing no faults. The parking assist works ok although I have only used it once. Scares me to death.

No - still unanswered so I'm just living with it - it's quite a minor irritation, all things considered. 

Maybe another 'master' reset might help you - don't know...

But when I upgraded my maps I didn't do a master reset (well, not intentionally, anyway 🙂).

I think mine does too - the display for the back of the car (red/amber/green) relies on the graphics from the camera, I think. So if your camera isn't working, I'm not surprised that you don't get a picture of the back of the car.
