STCSTC
I have a 2015 Focus. Issue with the factory fitted Bi-Xenon headlamp. The drivers side light has gone out twice over the past few days. First time I thought the lamp had gone but after turning ignition off and back on it came back to life. The same happened this morning. Thought I’d try a new lamp but Ford want £250!!! for a new lamp. Nearly fainted when told the price. I get no malfunction message on the driver display. Any ideas? It’s been suggested elsewhere that it could be a faulty ballast. Am I right in thinking the High Intensity Bulb is a D3S type? Does anyone know what K value the factory fitted bulbs are as Halfords sell Osram D3S Xenarc Original Xenon HID bulbs for a fraction of what Ford want to charge but don’t know what K value I need? Any help appreciated.
YOG
Swap the left and right bulbs over, and see if there's any difference.
glennkelly
did you find a fix? I have similar issue when cornering. The corner light comes on then the main headlight bulb goes off and not back on again unless I switch the lights off and on again.
