    You've made me feel sorry for him now LOL If it's a consistent rattle, try sticking a strip of adhesive velcro type material so the sides rest on it rather than hard plastic. If it rattles only over harsh bumps, it may not be seated properly in the hinged supports. If it's a serious query, treat us seriously with more details of what you're issue is...

    If it's a Mk3 shelf that's not broken it'll certainly be in the minority!

    They either snap down the middle or the clips come off the ends.

    Yep rubbish clips that go into the holes made of plastic and make the holes bigger over time. I put them through and wrapped wire ties on the end and cut the end off so they stay in now. Also the string is fraying and will soon snap they are made so bad.
