Mk3.5 horn

Featured Replies

Hi all.

My horn seems to have stopped working, the relay is working so I guess it's the horn itself.

I have been looking online for a guide to remove the bumper and replace the horn but I can only find guides for a Mk3, not a 3.5. Are the bolts/clips and horn in the same place? Or is there an easier way to get to the horn instead of removing the bumper?

Thanks in advance

I used this video when I removed my bumper.

Can you not get to it with just the headlamp out?

Thanks, I assume the horn is in the same location?

Crikey, that's alot of work!! On my Mk2, I just removed the grill support (6 x screws) and reached down, whole job, to swap horn took 10 minutes... Good luck buddy, that looks a real pain!

If it's the same as this one, you only need to remove the undertray and the front plastic undertray.

You're probably right, I removed the whole bumper so that I could fit the Hella horns. I bypassed the OEM horn, the Hella ones were much better/louder.
