I've been getting a warning a few times a week now saying that "Hill Start Assist Is Not Available"

It seems to come on when i've been driving home from work which is a 30 mile motorway drive.

Once parked and the engine switched off, If i restart the engine the warning is gone.

Anyone else had this issue before?

    Fairly common phenomenon. The normal cause is the battery State Of Charge has fallen to less than 70% which triggers the warning that "Hill Start Assist is Not Available".

    The subject as to why your battery may be low is a whole other topic, just suffice to say that driving 30 miles does in no way guarantee that the battery SOC will be constantly above the threshold.

    Use a digital multimeter and measure the battery terminal voltage before you begin your journey and see what it is,
