2010 1.6 Focus DPF pressures issues

Featured Replies

My dads been having a constant fault code regarding the DPF pressure being too high / low.

Today we replaced the pressure switch hoses from my dads DPF as one of the hoses had melted and turned to ash . We also treated the DPF with some spray cleaner but still got the same codes. Tried 2 pressure switches . Used forscan to reset the learned values ...however it will not let us do a forced regen and throws out a message - Soot levels to high or too low-. We've had the codes p244a, b and c I have deleted the codes and reset learned values. The readings from live data also trying 2 different sensors.

Original sensor at idle and revs=819.2 kpa

Aftermarket sensor = 75.0 kpa

None of the sensors fluctuate, they are constantly fixed.

Any ideas before we remove the DPF and try flushing it ..

Thanks
