It would be useful to all of us to say what type of animal/pet an African Gray is?

Hi lasthope, hope you are enjoying his company. I have an Eclectus parrot that I got from my inlaws when it was five years old, he is now twenty, and from online search find they can live to around forty years old in the wild.

He can ``talk`` mimic, says his name, Jasper, hello and yukky, if he tries to say hello jasper as one, it comes out a bit garbled. Even at this age can still make a nuisance of himself and annoy me. Likes to have all round his head rubbed with my finger.

In this picture, he is rubbing his head will a peanut shell.

ha ha my one is 5 years old he likes to come out his cage and sit next to you drinking my tea he talks alot says allsorts if you phone rings he says hello and bed time he says nite nite bud time for bed only had him for about 5 weeks now

Jasper likes to drink my tea as well he has recently taken to drinking my lemonade to, will have a sip when it,s bubbly once it,s gone flattish will then have ten to twelve sips. He to likes to join in with the phone calls when my son or one of my brothers call me.
