Sad sad day for us Bounty lovers...

Featured Replies

We have the 'climate crisis', 'cost of living crisis', 'illegal immigration crisis', but today, the announcement of something much more sinister. Yes. Mars are saying they are withdrawing the 'Bounty' from boxes of celebrations!! Apparently they had 39% of their customers saying they didn't want this gorgeous treat. What kind of figure is this? Brexit was won on a hugely smaller number. 61% of the public are against this arbitrary decision.

Bounty is my personal 'go to' treat in a box of Celebrations, and I will mourn the passing of this delicious, gooey chocolate choice. :sadwalk:

Have you read the statement?  It's just a PR stunt to get people to go to Tesco.  The vast majority of Celebrations tubs will still be filled with Bounty's.

But how about the Red ones, with dark chocolate ?  They reward you with a better taste in my opinion !

Have to agree, I've always loved the dark chocolate ones, but sadly they've never been offered in a box of Celebrations...

This dog will help track down a bounty. Just have to hope he doesn't eat them 🤣

Bounty is always the last ones left in our house. What will replace them or do we just end up with less chocolates .  I prefer heroes .

In the 'limited edition' boxes with no Bounty, you just get more of the others. Must confess when I started this thread is was after hearing the report on the radio. I now know it's a cheap publicity stunt from Tesco/Mars! I'm not impressed...

Give us your address and we will send you all the bounty we normally throw away as no one likes them.

Bounty, Twix, , Topic, Malteesers my preference in that order.

Anything with coconut, Manchester tart, Snowballs, Macaroons

My local Waitrose has had no Mars bars for some weeks. Plenty in local Coops though.

It's all to do with the price of fish 🤔
