queries on Parking Aid Module (PAM) replacement on 2014 Tourneo Connect

Featured Replies

Hi.
I'm looking to replace the factory fitted Ford Parking Aid Module on my 2014 Ford Tourneo Connect.
Do I just disconnect the original module and connect up the replacement, or do I need to disconnect the battery first?
Will the replacement module need to be reprogrammed to function on my car, or is it just fit and go?
The replacement module is an identical one from another same age Tourneo Connect.
Thankyou.

If it's the same part number it should work OK

Yes, the replacement module is the same part number.

Is it ok to swap the modules with the battery still connected?  or should I disconnect the battery first?

You can swap with the battery connected, just don't have the ignition on.
