ST Gel wheel inlays

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

would anyone happen to know where you can now get the Wheel inlays for the Puma ST. I know DMB graphics used to do them but not anymore. Can’t seem to find anywhere else that can produce them?.

Thanks

Joe

The Ford Motor Company are on a bit of a mission at the moment, and clamping down on the illegal or unlicensed use of their trademarks and logos.

Of course China don't care so you can still get anything from AliExpress 🤣

With the posts we get on here lately, such as wet belts self destructing, Fiesta and Focus being killed off, increased prices for reduced specs, interminable delivery delays, etc, it's surprising that folk aren't seeking to remove Ford logos😀

I was thinking of designing a new 'EcoBoom !' badge, and perhaps an additional suffix badge like '3rd Engine' 😂

Cool, my car is on it's 2nd LOL

Back in the early 1980's (I think it was then) owners of the infamous 'NSU Ro80' with the rotary wankel engine developed their own hand signals to show how many engines they had when they passed another NSU 😂🤣

That was a very interesting car, not just for the engine. You could see the influence of its aerodynamics in the later models of Audi 100 which were heavily advertised as having "cd 0.30" iirc.

I've often wondered how much of the engine issue was down to design and poor build initially (some of it undoubtedly was) and how much due to lack of understanding by owners and mechanics. I seem to remember the issues were largely sorted in time, but too late and the company fell into the hands of VW group and (I think) production ended about 1977.

Am I right in thinking the Ford V4 was sometimes used as a transplant engine?

Edit: We should really have put this in the "Poor Design" thread!
