Good morning all. We bought a 2009 petrol Cmax 2ltr titanium auto about six months ago which we love. Occasionally is feels sluggish when slowing down on bends and pickup up to drive forward. I've looked at the transmission oil level and colour and both appear to be okay, any ideas would be welcome.

    I don't expect that the automatic transmission fluid has ever been changed as it both a difficult and expensive process. It should be changed approx every 37500 miles or 10 years which ever comes first.

    My recommendation would be to get the gearbox serviced (oil and filter) as this is possibly the cause of your problems.
