Ford Focus titanium 1.5 EcoBoost 182. Unusual clicking noise after reviving

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I have a petrol 2014 1.5 EcoBoost 182 UK spec focus. When the car is stationary and I rev I can hear a clicking metallic noise when the speed of the engine is returning to idle. Is this normal? I’ve taken a video and will try and upload.

Thsnks in advance

Steve

Might just be the turbo actuator rattle on the early engines.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Would that be a major issue which needs resolving?

The unusual sound/rattle is around the 4 second mark.

Did you find out what it was ?
