Help with radio part numbers

Featured Replies

Would appreciate if anyone can help with radio part numbers. I need to replace the radio unit in a Mk2 Cmax which has Sync 1 with navigation and DAB, what I would like to know is how important are the last 2 letters in the red circle and how important are the numbers and letters in the two blue circles, I will be grateful if anyone can help.8BB091BB-57B1-4E4C-A55B-62FED32C9703.thumb.jpeg.0d53a21721f2f08b39a8239dd5f1971b.jpeg

For the last 2 letters in the main part number the first letter will vary with type /variant of radio so that would need to match yours. The second letter of the suffix is the engineering change level and is not as important.

Troy thanks for your reply, have been searching eBay but the closest I can find ends in HL where as mine is HM so would assume that was the previous engineering change, so hopefully going back one level should be ok.

Yes going for HL in place of HM the changes would likely be invisible to you and same spec as your old radio.
