A/C console light comes on at each ignition switch on

Featured Replies

A/C (with console switch light) keeps coming on despite being switched off. This happens each time the ignition is operated. Should the switch not remember it's last position?

Cheers,

Allan

Air con is always activated on windscreen blowers, regardless of previous use

if you move it just passed the windscreen symbol on the switch, it shouldnt automatally come on

My fiesta does that too, it’s very annoying. Why do Ford think I can’t decide for myself.

You obviously can't be trusted to clear the windscreen.

Thanks to all who assisted with answers. I now get what I have to do (move past windscreen position or opt out) but I am amazed you have to opt out of A/C if just switching the fan on. Weird.
