1.0 Ecoboost Fiesta fluids enquiry

Featured Replies

Hi All

Have recently purchased a 2016 1.0 EcoBoost Fiesta and previously had a 2011 1.6 Titanium petrol.

Coolant and oil levels all fine at present but please can someone advise which types are recommended for future use.

I have some Duratec 5W 20 oil left and pink coolant from when I had the old car. Not sure if they're compatible?

Thanks

Helen

See technical spec: https://www.fordservicecontent.com/Ford_Content/vdirsnet/OwnerManual/Home/Content?variantid=4389&languageCode=en&countryCode=USA&Uid=G1532539&ProcUid=G1545716&userMarket=GBR&div=f&vFilteringEnabled=False&buildtype=web

ONLY 5W-20 oil that is to Ford spec, WSS-M2C948-B should be used on the 1.0 Ecoboom engine. Make sure you change the oil and filter at least once per year.

OK thanks for that, will check that technical spec then.

It has FSH and was last serviced in September, only done £1k miles since then.

You might like to update your profile with your new car details 😀
