Settings outcome when changing the battery on Keyless entry 1.0 litre Eco Boost Focus

Featured Replies

If I change the battery in my 1.0 litre 2017 Focus Eco boost with keyless entry, might I lose any settings that won't be restored on re connection?  The kind of settings I would not want to lose would be any code for the keys or radio   -  which Ford have not provided. I have seen items about battery performance logs for an old battery that might be applied to a new Battery and mention if a procedure to wipe them. Is it necessary and can anyone post a link.

I only have a code for the locking alloy wheel key. It would be a pain but not too to lose Sat Nav destinations saved as Favourites.

Thanks

There is no radio code on Mk3s.

Not sure about Nav destinations but you probably will lose radio presets.  Auto windows will all need resetting.  Driving data (MPG etc) will reset itself.

BMS should be reset after the battery change.  I'm not sure of the procedure on facelift Mk3 so hopefully someone else can provide that.
