Question: How to - take off grill around fog light to wrap/paint it

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, hope you're all good!

Would anyone be able to help me with a guide on how to take off the white grills around the fog lights without taking the front bumper off? I am not too experienced nor very technical but I assume it should be possible to take them off with extra care?

Reason I'm asking is that I am looking to paint/wrap them into black/grey similar to the ST model as it gives a more aggressive look to the car.

That being said, the workshop where I wrapped my roof/mirror caps said they would not risk to pull them off without the bumper taken down as it may risk damaging the clips.

Cheers,

A

I've got a MK3 and replaced the fog light bezels last year, it can probably be done without removing the front bumper but is a fiddly job.... check the post from halfway down my build thread...
