FOCUS 2012 Titanium Sony Bluetooth

Hi gang.

.New around these parts so please be gentle.

The Sony DAB stereo i have in my 2012 Focus is great but the Bluetooth has recently failed. When i try and pair it to my phone, I get a spinning wheel of doom. That stays for about 20 seconds before it throws me out into the "line in" aux option. 

Any advice regarding whats wrong and how to fix (I am NOT a technical person and if its a big issue, would prefer to take it somewhere for a fix, if possible)
