Does anyone know anything about E Hodgson and Son in Retford ?

Hi guys,

I've a 1984 Mk1 Orion that, I believe was registered at E Hodgson and Son, London Road, Retford in March 1984.  I'm trying to find out some info on them. It would appear that somewhere between 84 to 85 they got into financial problems after building a new showroom etc.. and sold to R C Edmonson who were there until somewhere in the 90's.

 I'd also like to see if anyone has got a car bought from them that still has its original dealer number plates and dealer sticker in the rear window. I did buy a dealer sticker but this might be from the 70's as seems to have been copied from a Mk2 escort. I've found a chap with an August 84 escort, and it seems to have a different window sticker, black with Hodgson written on it but we can't make out the rest as an old photo.

Any help would be appreciated.
