roof will not go up because of boot

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have just had  a new roof pump and motor fitted with the correct oil but on starting to open roof  the boot opens  open which then stop the roof, dash reads male-function.

The garage cannot figure out why but they think the two latches on either side of the boot lid are not working.

Has anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?

by the way I thought I had posted my resultof the rev problem a friend sorted it out, many thanks to the people that gave some info ,much appreciated.

many thanks

Read through all of this thread and see attached drawing of the roof system. You will need FORScan to find the problem with the roof operating system.
