My car came without the reverse camera can I buy the camera from ford and plug it in or is it more involved?

More involved, even if the cable loom is present, you'd need to the car programmed so that it knows it exists.

Given the cost cutting Ford have done on the Mk4.5 I'd amazed, actually speechless if there is even just the hint of wiring for a rear camera.

I expect you will have to do a full install from the camera to the screen, and then programme up the car.

Silly question, was this a prerequisite? Could you have sourced a vehicle with a camera or do you now realise you need one for to visibility or other issues? Wife has one on Titanium X and doesn't use it due to years of having car without cameras

It was the only new focus auto available that I didn't have to wait months for, I don't need it it's just handy sometimes
