Newbie with Mk3 Focus 1.0 ecoboost issues

Featured Replies

Hi guys, good to see the old school forums going strong!

Hoping i can get some clarity on my issues with my 62 reg Mk3 focus fitted with the 1.0 ecoboost engine with around 72000miles on it.

This has probably been asked a thousand times but ive a P000A (camshaft position slow reponse bank 1) and P132B (turbo boost control performnace ) faults on my car which when into limp mode yesterday morning. I must add its felt under powered for the last few months.

I know these engine have their fair share of issues, have a feeling its bad news but would anyone beable to shed any light?

Thanks in advance

Eddie

Has this problem just started since you had the wet belts replaced ?

  • Author

The wet belts havnt been replaced as far as I know and it will be due an oil change.

It's due more than an oil change.....😬😬

It requires at least a £1700 wetbelt change.

Good news is that the oil change is part of the wetbelt change.
