Mk2 2.0 TDCi - Just need a part number for the fuel pump relay

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. I'm sorry to make my first post wanting something. But I'm running out of options.

My car's in for repair at the moment (originally a fuel pump replacement) and the garage has told me the fuel pump relay is missing from the box. Presumably it was dropped by the AA guy when I got him out to have a look.

The garage, the parts counters at several Ford dealerships, and even Ford UK Customer Service, have all been unable to work out the correct part to order; because they need the part number off the old relay (which is missing).

It's a 57 plate, pre-facelift, with the 2L Diesel. I'm just hoping somebody else has this model and can have a quick look in their fuse box and tell me the part number! 🙏

It should be a 5 pin general purpose relay Ford part 1426082

just put that number in eBay

Thanks for replying, Unofix!

I've narrowed it down to two (probable) part numbers; yours and one other.

I've ordered both as they're quite cheap. I will post again with the outcome!
