2010 1.6 Diesel, engine starts, runs until you try to move then cuts out. Diagnostics says ECU fault or rail pressure too low, had ECU repaired, injectors tested and fuel pump sensor changed, still saying the same thing. 

I assume the fuel filter was changed before anything else?

Has the fuel rail pressure been watched on a live graph?  If the pressure is genuinely too low it could be the fuel pump or FPR failing.

Indeed.  When you assume, you make an AS$ out of U and ME!

I'm slightly concerned the low fuel pressure code may be a red herring anyway.  Being triggered by the engine stall, instead of it being the cause of the stall.  One thing at a time though!

 

Which diagnostic tool?  generic, Ford, or Forscan. Cheaper diagnostic readers often don’t give all the dtcs. Common faults on mk2/2.5 Focus include instrument cluster soldering and, plug connections into the BCM/fuse box behind the glove box.These generally induce u1900 codes or similar.
