Ad blue range

Featured Replies

Ive had my Focus 1.5 ecoblue  since mid september this year , its now done just over 7000mls and the Ad blue range started at 3750mls and over that mileage ive put 30 litres in, this week i let it run down to 280 mls of Ad blue left , ive now just filled it with another 10 litres and filled up with diesel but my Ad blue range as only gone up to 2500mls, is there any way to re set the Ad blue range

I suspect your profile is a little out of date as I don't think AdBlue was a thing on a 2007 😉

It sounds like your car is using a little too much AdBlue. I have a Focus 2.0 diesel which has done approx 16500 miles and used about 25 litres of AdBlue. There is no way to reset the gauge it's just something the car works out for itself.  The range is only a best guess calculation, so I'd not worry too much about it. Remember the recent extreme cold weather also effects the usage.
