Electric windows/interior lighs not working

Hi all, electric windows, interior lights not working, blow fuse I have changed the fuse a few times but it just blows straightaway ! Any ideas please ps it's a focus st diesel

You need an auto electrician who can fault find.

Yer I know that's my last option, was hoping someone had the same issues.

It could be any number of things. You need to fault find it properly. For me the first thing to do would be to get the door cards off and unplug the electric window motors to see if one of them has a short circuit.

I would start by removing all the interior light bulbs incase of a short in one of those. Boot light, glove box light etc. Unplug the overhead light assy.

It's under the glove box left hand side second one down it a 10 fuse 

The interior lights (Fuse60) and the electric windows are on different fuses.

A 10Amp fuse would seem like the interior lights. I would expect the fuse for the windows to be 25Amp.

Have you checked the owners handbook ?

That depends on whether there's individual modules on each door, as in 4 electric windows. Then the same fuse supply's the main window switch controller.  Fuse 60 does lighting and window controller on 10 amp
