I have a 2022 Active Focus estate Auto with added extras including the Vignale pack and B&O sound system. Some time ago, whilst listening to the radio and its "superior" sound and development set up ..... it became apparant that at anything over 9 or 10 on the volume, it sounded as if the interior door cards wanted to become detatched from the door frames and the vibration was horrendous.

Discussing this with a dealer we were unable to replicate this occurance, which was puzzleing . However, what we did discover is something I never expected to see on a modern car.

With the O/S/R door open the technician used his hand to fairly firmly, tap the inner door trim at the upper edge / window scraper moulding height of the door and asked me - "is that the noise you're hearing?" It was. When he used a finger on the other hand to press the outer horizontal window scraper moulding in towards the door, whilst still tapping the interior part, the noise stopped.

Closer inspection revealed that the outer door skin is only held by the extreme outer left and right edges and along the bottom. The upper horizontal length of the door skin can be pulled away from the door glass by gently pulling on the outer scraper moulding and it is this that is vibrating !! We checked all the other doors and they are the same. There is a fix apparantly - so waiting for a date to have this done.

Gotta love the constant creative ways to cut costs (not) !
