Focus MK2 2006 - 2.0 16V Duratec-HE - which spark plugs are the best?

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Which spark plugs are the best for my car?

I have pre-facelift MK2 Focus (date of production: 2nd of May 2006) with 2.0 16V Duratec-HE (107 kW; A0DA) engine. The car doesn't have LPG or CNG or any other alternative fuels (nor it ever did). I only use Super 98. The mileage is around 182.XXX kilometres.

I changed the spark plugs when car had 135.838 km on the clock. That was on 24th of April 2019. I used OEM ones > https://www.kimmerle-onlineshop.de/1369704-ford-original-zuendkerze-ford-focus-mk2-2-0-benzinmotor-2005-2010.html

I know that they need to be changed every 60.000 km or 3 years (whatever comes first).

I want to change them in few thousand kilometres. So my question is, do I stick the the OEM ones or are there better options?

Thank you in advance and kind regards!
