Has anyone ordered one of these yet?

Seems a great addition for £500 includes black 20-inch alloys, black pan roof, black finished door mirror caps, black front fascia vents and rear spoiler, ST line badges and Kuga tailgate lettering finished in black. Both ST line models come with B&O premium audio system fitted as standard includes 10-speaker system.

Is it me or is are they pictures of a FOCUS and NOT a KUGA?

Is it painted or just vinyl wrapped?  Seems a lot of hassle to paint the roof separately. 

Also a terrible idea for practicality.  Black shows up all the dust that will be covering the roof for 99% of the time.  I suppose you could argue the Kuga is tall enough for people not to see the roof...but then that makes the colour change pointless anyway.

I had the roof of a previous car 'carbon' wrapped, must admit, I really liked it...

I think the roof panel must be fitted in the same way as the pan roof to allow it to be painted a different colour away from the main body.  Interestingly, the STLX comes with a pan roof as standard.  So the black pack appears to remove that option and fit the solid black roof instead.  Personally I don't like the pan roof but that seems like poor value for money!  Would say that's worth double checking for anyone intending to add the Black Pack to an STLX model.

A black roof is going to absorb a lot of heat on a sunny day. It may look cool (though that's a matter of opinion) but it certainly won't be cool . . . . .

I own both a black roof car and a panoramic roof car. 

The pan roof interior gets much hotter than the solid black roof interior ever did.  Only takes the slightest bit of sun to be intensified through the glass roof and make the interior feel really stuffy. 

Pan roof is definitely another 'feature' that'll I'll be actively avoiding in future!

Well that's no surprise. I've never been able to understand the attraction of a panoramic roof which turns the car into a greenhouse.

I'm just awaiting confirmation of a build slot on a ST LINE X FHEV platinum white with the black pack.

My Kuga now has a pan roof, the glass is solar reflective and also has the blind to use. One of the best features I have made use of is the remote start, controlling the climate controls in the summer and winter using the AUTO setting for air con, defrost and heated windscreens/seats/steering wheel/mirrors. Also gives you the option to use the last settings when you exit the car.
