It was to not answer first time posters as 95% never bother to come back. But here we are, 8th Jan and I'm already answering posters who I know will most likely never read the reply 😧

    Sorry, I know this is an old post but I’m having interior light issues with my 2014 focus. When you unlock the car remotely, shouldn’t the interior light come on? Mine doesn’t and neither does it come on when you stop driving and the engine is switched off. 
     

    now I’ve been told that the unit has failed but my unit looks fine. What bits fail on these things? Is it the circuitry? 
     

    I’ve not long had the car and only just drove it in the dark the other night to discover this issue. I’ve also looked in the manual which was not very useful or in-depth, and I’ve tried many button combos (holding one or all of them down for 30 seconds)

    any advice is appreciated
