Struggling with stalling/stuttering issue

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a 2010 S-Max with the 2.0 TDCI engine but recently it has started stalling at traffic lights and sometimes pulls back power on the motorway. Taken it to a garage who couldn't find any stored faults so didn't have much look with them. I did use Forscan with a modified cable however and was able to get the following faults:

===PCM DTC P0409:01-24===
Code: P0409 - EGR Sensor 'A' Circuit

Additional Fault Symptom:
 - General Electrical Failure

===PCM DTC P0235:01-24===
Code: P0235 - Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor 'A' Circuit

Additional Fault Symptom:
 - General Electrical Failure

===PCM DTC P2562:01-24===
Code: P2562 - Turbocharger Boost Control Position Sensor 'A' Circuit

Additional Fault Symptom:
 - General Electrical Failure

Would any one have any ideas where to look? My initial thoughts would be either the EGR value being bunged up or the MAF sensor but the local garage quoted 750 for a replacement EGR valve so it is an expensive gamble to make.

Code: P02FA - Intake Air Flow Position Sensor Minimum/Maximum Stop Performance

Additional Fault Symptom:
 - Parametric

Code: P02E6 - Intake Air Flow 'A' Position Sensor Circuit

Additional Fault Symptom:
 - General Electrical Failure

@phey708 - I appreciate the thread is old, but I am experiencing the same fault codes, and symptoms. Did you ever resolve yours? I've taken to 3 different mechanics/garages who are struggling to diagnose as the fault codes are not always present (or get reset by the previous mechanic). Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
