Need advice on down sizing my alloys.

Featured Replies

HI,

I currently own a ford fiesta black edition i am running a stock car (no changes to it) I have 17 inch alloys on a tyre size of 205/40r17 but due to some travelling i have planned I am looking at going down to 16 inch and maybe running 195/50r16, I have spoken to the local ford dealer and they cant recommend any changes. The alloys I've found in question are on the Ford parts website and they are (suitable apparently) with the car.

Would these work on my car with out any rubbing in your opinion. I am unsure of the off set of these and I'm a complete novice.

Thanks for any help/ advice.

Yes, standard, Ford 16" Alloys with the correct tyres will fit your car, with no issues.

Buy 2nd hand, there's loads on Ebay

195/50 R16 is the correct size
