Morning all, driving home the other day and my car started to miss fire

Changed plugs and leads as that what came up on computer, still lumpy and cuts out and gets worse when head lights turned on.

checked voltage on battery and all is ok, the  only thing i havent changed is coil pack.

Could it be an earth wire, any thoughts please

Read codes, there will be something stored.

What did you use to make you think it was the plugs and leads?

Morning Dave,

The computer code came up saying plugs then leads.. havent replaced coil pack.

Still a slight miss fire and gets worse when i turn head lights on

Where or how did you get the computer code

Follow the guy's help as they will be on the ball more than me with newer cars, but just wanted to throw this in as a thought, I had a car splutter and die way back, would start sometimes then die not much further on, in my case there was a leak on the exhaust manifold where the seal had gone, so it was sucking in cold air which killed the car, only did it when cold, unlikely these days I dare say, but it's an out there thought if all else fails.
