internal door locking

Featured Replies

can anyone help,  the central locking works ok on remote, but when inside the car i go to lock all doors by pulling the lever above the door opening lever nothing happens.

I think you have to push the lock lever in, not pull it out?  Been a while since I had the Mk2 though.

Fair enough.  Can't say I've come across this before unfortunately.

Have you tried locking the passenger door from inside?

Well, if that one locks, that would suggest the drivers one may be faulty.

ok thanks, will check.

from memory, using the leaver on the front passenger door (or rear doors) will only lock the individual door, it doesn't cause the central locking to lock all other doors.
