I have a 67 plate from new serviced less than  month ago . On Saturday it developed this awful noise . Called breakdown out who said he had tightened lamp unit up . It came back even louder after few minutes . I went  in bonnet and wiggled wires at back which did stop it but closing bonnet set it off again . Taken to garage this morning and they tell me I need the whole lamp housing unit

Has anyone else had this , I have owned a few models of KA over the years and this is new to me ??

Has the lamp housing snapped one of its lugs that attach it to the body of the car?  If so, I think you can get a repair kit for some Fords - don't know if your is one of them.  There was a thread on one of the forums on this site a few weeks ago.
