Slight Vibration when hitting 70mph

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

I've recently picked a 2017 MK3.5 focus. 55,000 miles.

Driving on the motorway when hitting 70mph there was a very slight vibration.

Theres 4 "budget" tyres on the car, but the rears are a 55 profile whilst the front are 50. The tyres are all 215's 17 inch.

Im going to start with the most obvious potential issue, which is to get the tyres rebalanced hoping that's sorts it.

Could the tyre size difference potentially cause this slight vibration?

If the rebalance doesn't resolve the vibration, does anyone have past experience and able to offer some advice in regards what steps they took and what the actual issue was?

TIA
