Fuel rail high pressure sensor

Featured Replies

Hi ,

I have a  2013 Focus 1.6 TDCI. Any advice or videos on how to change fuel rail high pressure sensor? And where about it locates? Is it difficult to change it? I was driving and the car suddenly stopped working, scanned and it is showing an error code p0193. Any advice appreciated

Thanks,

Edd

It's on the rear of the engine, roughly half way down.  About as inaccessible as you can get on this engine unfortunately.  If you're still struggling to locate it, follow one of the hard injector pipes down to the rail.

Initially the sensors were only available as part of the fuel rail, but you may be able to buy an aftermarket sensor separately now.

It could also be a wiring fault.  Not necessarily a faulty sensor.
