Cigar Lighter And Power Point Dead

Just got a 2010 Focus 1.6 Zetec. The cigar lighter and the power point in the central console are dead - won't run my Sat Nav (which is fine I've tried it on another car). Is there a fuse box inside the car - I've looked at the one in the engine compartment and the fuses there are OK.

    not familiar with the new focus but on the mk1 and mk2 its behind/under the glovebox area.

    i reckon it will be the same as the mk2, get down on your hands and knees and have a look under the glovebox area, there should be 2 plastic screws that you need to undo. that will then drop the little panel down revealing the fuse panel.

    do you have the handbook for the car? it will be explained in there...
