Hi All,

I currently have a Mercedes A-Class, with heated seats and digital dash. I’ve been looking since about November to find myself a Desert Island Blue Focus ST Line X Edition as it has everything my car has now plus a bit more but I’m really struggling to find an Automatic with the spec I want, I would like the additional pack that includes the Adaptive Cruise Control but this isn’t a necessity.

In regards to this, I found out yesterday that there are some ECU software changes that can be made to my A-Class, mostly are cosmetic like including the AMG logo in the startup screen, but some are little hardware changes that will be able to be coded to the cars already installed system such as upgrading the standard Cruise Control to the Adaptive Cruise Control making use of all the sensors and stuff needed for this, along with changing the modules on the steering wheel to incorporate this upgrade.

I was hoping someone would be able to enlighten me as to whether this is something that could be done with the Focus’ or if this particular thing is only for the car I have now, as if I can do this then I most likely wouldn’t need to go for the X Edition and maybe only the X or the standard ST Line (depending on what sort of software upgrades/changes are available).
