DPF and Catalyst Repair (New one by the guaranty of FORD)

Featured Replies

Good evening everybody!

Today i went to the dealer to pickup my car that was under repair for a broken and clogged catalyst and DPF.

They put on a new DPF filter and reprogrammed the sensors or something like that...

It is inexcusable the fact that the car has only 28.000kms on the odometer and have had such a big damage with a good style of driving...

Noone could justify the specific damage and i am so angry with FORD...

I was without my car for 15 dayw with no spare car from them and no roadside assistance.

I do not want any replies, the only reason i am writting this is for information to the future owners of a MK4 Ecoblue Focus.

Problems till now:

1. Clutch that sounds so disturbing when the engine is cold

2. Lots of regenerations every 200-400 kms

3. Below 1700rpm is dead even with 1st gear

4. DPF cloggeg and destroyed 10000% in only 28.000 kilometers

5. Very expensive spare parts and work.

I think a petrol one of these MK4's 1,5turbo would be an excellent choice!!!

Have a nice evening everybody!!!
