Hi ,

would anyone know a fair price for fuel injectors being replaced on a fiesta diesel 1.6 2014.

I’ve been quotes £984 by ford themselves, is this a fair price ??

    Personally, I'd ask a few other local garages and some local independents to quotes from, find out where they are in the range of quotes

    At firsts they quoted me £1485 which was a bit of a shock .I would do the job myself but the injectors on euro car parts are £350 each .

    definitely gonna call a few garages first.

    Why have they dropped the quote by a third?

    Injectors are fairly easy to change so the cost is mostly the parts rather than labour.  Don't forget they'll also need to be coded in, so a small garage may not have the correct equipment. 

    Being the 8v engine they are more expensive than the older ones, but £350 each sounds excessive!

    I know there are lots of different injector types for a Ford Fiesta 1.6 diesel but doing a quick search online most are around £180 each
