Hi all looking for a little advice normally advanced at this stuff but had a confusing encounter today so I have a 63 1.6 connect head gasket failure oil in water when I’ve went to clean the bottom block all liners are lower the the side casting using a ruler there’s a gap on the liners but in the middle part where ring meets the next ring they seam to be raised by half mm I’ve only gave it a light clean any one know if this normal for this engine ?
