Lock/Unlock using key fob not working

I am no longer able to lock/unlock doors of my Ford Fiesta 2011 using the key fob. It stopped working all of a sudden, I have tried replacing the battery in the key fob but no luck and I have only one key fob. Just phoned Ford dealership they quoted £130 just to diagnose the issue and then may be another £200 - £250 to fix the issue or replace the key. Has anyone face similar issue with their Ford? Thanks.

    I had similar high price from main dealer. 

    Mobile mechanic sorted it for less than half of main dealer price.

    Just look on FB. Google etc
