Central Locking Button Light not working.

Featured Replies

Just noticed when locking the door in my Focus Active 2019  the little orange light indicating that the door is locked is not there anymore.

Also the orange light to show wing mirror adjustment or the rear windows lock.

Attached an image to show you what I mean...

Car locks and unlocks as normal and mirrors adjust as normal too. Just no indication light.

Anyone point me in the right direction to sort it?

All of your missing LED warnings lights are via the Drivers Door Module (DDM). The light for the mirror (left/right) and the light for the child locks / window locks are also from the DDM but are Canbus controlled.

I would suspect that you have a connector starting to become disconnected or a damaged cable inside of the drivers door. I will attach a wiring diagram for the lock/unlock LED which is the easiest one to follow. Because it seems the Europeans don't like us, they have wired the RHD models using only black cable to make it harder to trace individual wires. The LHD models are in full colour.
