Ford Fiesta Mk7 Cambelt Change

Featured Replies

Hi all....my 2013 ford fiesta is due a cambelt change. Ive called around a few garages and have been outright floored by the skyhigh quotes. all in including a new waterpump...local ford garage quoted £900...then a local kwik fit garage quoted £700. i called a small independent garage and tgey completely refused saying "goodluck finding anyone to do that job on a fiesta mk 7"....when did cambelt changes become so difficult and expensive?!? any advice?

You don't say what engine you have?

Well with out the information on the type of engine those are exceedingly good prices if you have a 1.0 Ecoboost. They normally start at around £1400 and are known to go as high as £1800

Of course if you have a diesel or some other engine and not an Ecoboost then you could expect to pay between £400 and £700
