Reversing LED light for Focus 2.0l auto estate ecoblue

The rear offside reversing light (LED) Cluster has blown/stopped working.  A garage has suggested I need to replace the whole unit as the lights are sealed in.  Is this true.  Does anyone know if I can change the reversing LEDs without buying a whole new unit?  Thanks
