Misc:
-Recommended oil: 5W-30 fully synthetic oil
-Replace the O ring washer every oil change
-This service should be carried out every 10k miles or 12 months

----------------------------------------------------------

-Get the engine warm but not scalding hot (This makes the oil flow better)
-Put the full front end onto axle stands
-Remove the oil filler cap (This makes the oil flow better)

-Spray penetrating oil & wire brush the sump plug
-Place an oil pan under the engine oil sump
-Unbolt the sump plug with a 14mm socket
-Leave the oil to drain for 5-10 minutes (Until it is barely dripping)

-Remove the oil filter with an oil filter removal tool
-Allow the oil to continue dripping for another minute

-Smear clean oil on the new oil filter seal
-Screw the oil filter on. Tighten it as much as you can but only by using your hands (NO TOOLS!)
-Install the 14mm sump plug with a new O ring washer @ 28Nm
-Clean the oil residue from the oil sump with brake cleaner & a rag

-Lower the car back to the ground

-Pour 4.1L of fully synthetic 5w/30 oil into the filling port
-Leave the engine for a few minutes
-Check the dip stick & add more oil until it meets the maximum level

-Run the engine for a couple of minutes & then turn it off and wait for an additional couple of minutes
-Check for any obvious oil leaks from the oil filter or sump plug

-Check the oil level again and add more oil until the level is at the maximum marker on the dip stick

What engine is this for? Petrol or diesel? Not all engines need the same oil. I know the 1.0 Ecoboost needs 5W-20 spec oil.  They also may need to comply with certain Ford Spec too. Oil capacities may vary too.

That's a good point! Ford Fiesta Zetec JA8 1.25 duratec 16v 08-13

The issue is you are very limited with how many characters you can put in a post title.

I think some form of subtitle or tag system would be useful for this forum
