Misc:
-It's ideal to replace slide pins every time you install new pads & discs (You can clean up the pins if you don't want to replace them)

----------------------------------------------------------

-Crack off the wheel nuts for both of the front wheels (19mm)
-Support the front end of the car with axle stands
-Remove both of the front wheels (19mm)

-Spray penetrating oil on the calliper carrier bolts & clean them with a wire brush

-Remove both 12mm calliper carrier bolts with a SOCKET (If the slide pins start to spin then hold them with a 17mm spanner)
-Leaver the calliper piston in with a flathead screwdriver
-Pull the calliper carrier away and cable tie it out of the way on the shock absorber
-Pull both of the slide pins out & also their respective grease boots (Note which one goes in the top of the calliper)

-Clean out the slide pin bores with a small screwdriver and a rag
-Spray brake cleaner into the bores and then clean them with the rag again

-Making a bore cleaning tool:
-Cut a length of M7 rod that is about 3.5" long (If you cut the head off a flat wood drill bit this will be perfect)
-Cut a 1.5" slit down the centre at the end of the rod
-Rip a small length of sandpaper that is 1.5" wide
-Slide the sandpaper through the slit and then wrap it around the shank until it is the same diameter as the slide pin bore

-Attach the bore cleaning tool to a drill & reem out each slide pin bore (Spray brake cleaner into the hole before inserting)
-Spray brake cleaner into each bore until it is clean (Make sure there isn't any broken down sandpaper in there)
-Check to see if the slide pin goes in and out of each bore easily

-Put the rubber hose sleeve on the new top calliper pin
-Put some silicone grease into each bore and into each rubber boot
-Fit the rubber boots to the calliper
-Smear silicone grease on the calliper pins and insert them into the calliper whilst turning them (The pin with the rubber hose sleeve goes in the top of the calliper) (Make sure the boot retracts with the pin & therefore is sealed adequately)

-Reattach the calliper carrier to the calliper bracket
-Hold each slide pin with a 17mm spanner and tighten each calliper carrier bolt with a 12mm socket @ 28Nm

-Do the same to the other calliper

-Apply a conservative amount of aluminium anti seize to the hat of the rotors (Don't get any on the studs)
-Put the wheels back on (19mm)
-Put the car back on the ground
-Tighten all wheel nuts to 110Nm (19mm)
