One washer jet not working

Featured Replies

On my mk2.5, one of the washer jets out of the 2 jets on the passenger side isn’t working. I pushed a pin on the hole so it’s not blocked but I noticed the pin goes right in but on the jet next to it that works, the pin doesn’t go in as deep and hits something. I took the Bonnet lining off but can’t see how to view the jets themselves, only the pipe that goes to it.  Is there anything I can do easily?

Remove the jet, it's only a push it. If you have access to a compressed air line. blow some air in it, if not, put it on your lips tight, and blow real hard...

Do i remove it under the bonnet? I’ll have to have another look, didn’t look like it would come out easy

Yes, push upwards from under the bonnet, if they have never been removed, may be a bit stiff with years of crud holding it in...
