Hi I've a 2018 Ford Galaxy 2lt TCDI. 100,000miles. I was driving it when it just stopped dead. The RAC couldn't do anything other than tow it.  Diagnostic showed it needed a new fuel pump. It's been fitted but car just won't go. Turns over, lights work but at a lost what to do next.

    Tank pump or high pressure pump?

    Have the fault codes been read since the new pump was fitted?  Have live diags been used to check the actual fuel pressure during cranking?

    As above, check as per Tom's answers. Has the fuel system been bled ? Diesel's nearly always have problems with air in the fuel lines and the filter after work has been carried out.
